New pedestrian bridge over the 417

Ottawa is getting closer to building a pedestrian bridge over the 417 connecting the Via rail station and the Ottawa stadium on Coventry Road.
The Transportation Committee will see the results of an environmental assessment for the project tomorrow. The study recommends a path for pedestrians and cyclists.
The goal of the project is to increase access to the transitway station and the future light rail station to people who live on the north side of the highway.
