Passer-by unable to pull man from burning truck

With music blaring from his car stereo, it was just a normal drive down the Queensway until Khwaja Siddiqui heard the bang.
He pulled over around midnight Wednesday and saw the cause: a truck had slammed in to a pillar at the Hwy. 174 split.
Siddiqui tells the Sun he and another passer-by arrived at the truck and tried to get the driver, 32-year-old Phillippe Lalonde, out.
The truck was already on fire and Siddiqui says “I really tried to save him, but i couldn’t do it.”
