Plane Crash Victim from Embrun

Police have confirmed that an Ontario man was killed in a plane crash on the outskirts of Saskatoon.

Iaroslav Gorokovski was one of three people aboard the twin-engine plane that crashed Friday evening on a four-lane road.

The pilot and co-pilot escaped with minor injuries.

The 47-year old Gorokovski was a resident of Embrun.

He was an airborne survey electronics technician.

The pilots had radioed in just before the crash that they’d lost an engine.
