Humane Society helps with pup rescue

The Ottawa Humane Society has responded to a province-wide rescue of more than 100 dogs and puppies, 34 are being cared for in Ottawa according to a report from the Sun.
24 Terrier-mix adult dogs and 10 puppies were rescued from a backyard breeder in the Muskoka region.
They were found in a cramped filthy shed Tuesday night, some underweight and almost all of them have fur that is matted with fur and feces.
The pups have been treated and appear to be in good health.
The owner surrendered the dogs, the OSPCA hasn’t determined if charges will be laid.
