Inquest to be held in wave pool death

Ontario’s chief coroner has announced an inquest will be held into the death of an 8-year old girl at a Kanata wave pool.
Edine Ilunga was found floating face down at the Kanata Leisure Centre in October 2008.
The inquest will examine the events that surrounded her death and the safety standards in public pools.
It begins May 16.
