Man, 57, gets four more years for sexually abusing his step-daughter

A 57-year-old man will spend another four years in jail for a decade-long sexual abuse of his step-daughter which began when the victim was just six years old.
The man cannot be identified to protect the victim’s identity.
Court heard the victim’s mother had knowledge of the abuse and consented to it because according to the victim it made her husband happy.
The mother didn’t offer any reason why she allowed this to happen but did tell court she will stay with her husband.
