Not everyone is Canucks-crazy

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Believe it or not, there are people in this town who don’t support our beloved team. But at this point, it’s pretty hard to get away from the Canucks craze.
“I’m that small percentage that really isn’t into hockey,” says Victoria.
She’s not alone; Justin isn’t too keen on this run, but not because he isn’t a hockey fan. “I’m sick of this whole concept of the bandwagon jumpers and the fans that just come out during playoff time.”
“I’ve seen it year in, year out,” he says. “I’m obviously not a Canucks fan but unfortunately everyone else here… they are, and it’s just a joke to me.”
Victoria says game nights are the sleepless ones. “I definitely love the late night honking and the pots and pans banging. Especially if it is one of those overtime wins.”
But unlike Justin, she’s hoping the Canucks just take the Cup, so — in her words — we can all stop talking about it.
