More Canada Day, Royal Visit details

If you plan on including either of the two big shows on Parliament Hill as part of your Canada Day activities, make sure to get there early.

More than one million people are expected to be on the Hill to celebrate Canada’s 144th birthday and for the chance to see the new royal couple. The newlyweds will arrive with the Governor General at 12:07 in the afternoon. Whether William and Kate will watch the evening show is still up in the air.

More than 103 artists from across Canada will take part in the two shows, which will culminate in fireworks at 10pm.
