Letter carriers protest at Canada Post headquarters

Canada Post workers moved their protest, Thursday, to the corporation’s headquarters on Heron Road.

About one hundred workers, angry they have been locked out by the crown corporation slowed some workers from the Canada Revenue Agency  from entering the building.

The protesters marched and loudly chanted “we can’t work, you can’t work.”  Several also blew whistles and carried signs and flags.

At the height of the protest, eight police cars were called to the scene.

The crowd started to disperse just after 9 a.m.
