Ottawa man named number one dad ever

While fathers across the city celebrate their day, only one has been named number one dad ever.
The Sun reports Stan Wong donated his kidney to his son last month, earning him the title from the Carlingwood Sears where he works.
Wong’s son was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease about five years ago, because his kidneys were too small.
Wong told the sun his son’s kidneys were working at 13 per cent last fall. According to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, if a kidney is working at less than 15 per cent of normal, the only solution is dialysis or a transplant.
Employees at the store raised over $1000 so Wong could make his yearly trip to visit family in Winnipeg. He couldn’t afford it this year because of the costs of the operation.
