Good news for Ottawa’s three largest post secondary schools. The province has announced close to 53 million dollars in funding as part of its ten year infrastructure plan.
The University of Ottawa will get 30 million dollars to overhaul its library with 16 million going to Carleton University for its library. Algonquin College has been allotted 6.6 million dollars to develop more online courses.
The announcements are the first in a series of projects aimed at opening up 25 thousand new spots in Ontario’s post secondary institutions.
