RCMP investigating Liberal senator

Liberal Senator Mac Harb is denying any wrong-doing after Globe and Mail reports indicate the RCMP is investigating whether he used his political influence to help a Calgary-based oil and gas company.

The former Ottawa Centre MP says he is fully co-operating with the RCMP investigation, on whether a government official, believed to be Harb, used a special passport to travel to Bangladesh to lobby officials on behalf of Niko Resources.
