Kevin Costner and Modern West to play Spencerville Fair

Kevin Costner and his band Modern West are coming back to Ottawa. They’re playing the Spencerville Fair Sept. 10.
The band entertained at Bluesfest last year and this year local rock group Silver Creek will open for the actor best known for roles in “Dances with Wolves” and “Field of Dreams.”
Spencerville Fair organizer Carol Packwood told 1310News tickets are $30 by Sept. 4 and $37 after that.
She said that for $100 the fair is offering a V.I.P. package that includes preferred seating and a wine and cheese party before the show.
“People are going to have a chance to be in the same room as him. I’m sure a number of them will get to talk to him personally so that will be great,” she said.
Entry to the fair which runs the 8th through 11th of September is $12 but evening concerts Saturday and Sunday are extra.
Tickets go on sale Monday.
