Former Ottawa Home Depot employee faces charges in connection with theft at work

OTTAWA – A former employee at a Home Depot in Ottawa is facing fraud and theft charges after allegedly stealing from her former employer.

Police say the woman created store credit for herself when no customers were present.

They say she also helped two customers to leave the store with stolen goods and processed fraudulent returns for other items.

Thelma Dixon is charged with numerous offences, including possession of a credit card obtained by an offence and possession of proceeds obtained by crime.

Ryan Yeager and David Buelow also face multiple charges including fraud under $5000 and theft under $5000.

Police say the three are scheduled to appear in court next month to face the allegations.
