An Ottawa cab driver has been cleared of rape charges.
The mans name can’t be revealed under a publication ban.
The judge in the case called it disturbing no rape-kit was done at an Ottawa hospital after the alleged rape, it boiled down to a a case of different stories she said.
The Civic Hospital didn’t have staff available to examine the woman.
The next day after the woman had showered, the Renfrew Hospital emailed her to say she could go to that hospital for the rape kit exam.
