VPD issues warning after another East Van sexual assault

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Vancouver Police are putting out a warning after a 22-year-old woman was sexually assaulted near the 29th Avenue SkyTrain station over the weekend.
It happened just after midnight on Sunday when the victim was walking home along Vanness Avenue and approached by a young man on a bicycle.
He followed her for a short time before he suddenly jumped off his bike, grabbed her from behind and groped her.
Police are now looking for an olive-skinned man, possibly Asian, between 17 and 22 years old, around five feet five inches tall, with black spiky hair which was shaved on the sides.
He was wearing tan cargo shorts, a T-shirt and running shoes.
