Fat Cats lose in IBL finals

After a stellar year and a stunning post season run, it’s all over for the Ottawa Fat Cats.

The Cats lost to the Red Sox in Brantford Thursday evening, ending their run in the Intercounty Baseball League championship final.

The Cats gave it a valliant effort, dragging the game into extra innings, but the Red Sox took it 1-0 in the bottom of the 10th on a run by Terrell Alliman.

The Sox led the series 3-1 going into Thursday’s game, they now take home their fifth championship in six years.
