The 2011 provincial election campaign is being fought in cyberspace.
The National Post analyzed nearly 200,000 tweets about the election and found that 12,000 Twitter users weighed in on the campaign.
Around 700 tweeted about it on a daily basis.
The Post said most of those were party staffers, campaign workers or lobbyists, and they tended to be Liberal.
NDP Leader Andrea Horwath was the only leader to see Twitter activity steadily increase over the course of the campaign.
