Warm weather perfect for fall golfers

Sunshine, heat, no humidity and no wind all working together to create the golfer’s ideal weather forecast and in the capital men and women are hitting the greens in droves, taking full advantage of mother nature’s gifts.
Some regulars at Pineview Municipal Golf Course said they would be hitting the greens no matter what but this perfect weather is making it a lot more enjoyable.
“Oh yes, oh yes, it’s going to be a gorgeous day,” said Richard who has been playing at the course for over 40 years.
For others, like Jon, the weather enticed them out.
“I’m a fair weather golfer,” he said adding that Saturday’s forecast of 26 and sunny is “perfect” and that’s why he hit the course.
Nearly everyone used the word ideal, or perfect, to describe the long weekend forecast and they say they’ll be making the most of it, not only on the green but also out with family and friends for the long weekend.
