Stimulus projects to be finished by Monday deadline

Ottawa’s infrastructure projects that are funded by federal and provincial stimulus money will be completed by the Monday deadline.
The Citizen says the 131 projects, which include transitway and library improvements as well as new sidewalks and rural road upgrades, should come in about 11 million dollars under budget….that’s even after extra projects were added or expanded.
The program budgeted $401 million ….two thirds of which were covered by the provincial and federal governments.
