Two men face abduction and sexual assault charges

Two men now face charges in connection with an Ottawa woman’s abduction yesterday.
The incident happened shortly after 2a.m. Tuesday when the woman left an Ottawa bar
She says she was abducted, taken to a Hull townhouse, and sexually assaulted before she managed to escape.
27-year-old Alejandro Wilky Santana-Espinosa from Ottawa and 32-year-old Abel Santana Solano from Gatineau appeared in court Wednesday afternoon.
Pierre Lanthier with Gatineau Police tells 1310News they face a slew of charges including sexual assault, forcible confinement, kidnapping, robbery, and use of a firearm.
Both men are well known to police and may be linked to criminal gangs
A woman who was also arrested at the scene has been released and will not be charged.
Police say other arrests are likely.
