Ottawa man faces child luring charges

45-year-old Yves Charlebois is charged with two counts of child luring involving exposure to a minor and invitation to sexual touching.

Police arrested Charlebois in the east end on Thursday, November 10th, 2001.

Charlebois believed he was communicating on-line with a 14-year-old victim and exposed himself on webcam. He was arrested when he attempted to meet the victim for a sexual purpose.

Police executed a search warrant the following day, seizing four computers and a large quantity of analog and digital media.

The accused appeared in court that same day and was remanded into custody.
