They may be out of Confederation Park but Occupy Ottawa protesters are not going quietly.
A group of protesters is taking their message to the NCC’s head office on Elgin Street. And at 6:30 Wednesday evening, they are planning another general assembly meeting to determine whether they will attempt to occupy another venue.
Group spokesman Greg MacDougall tells 1310News you can’t evict and idea. He says the group’s momentum hasn’t waned.
“When people respond or they understand what the message is, then it’s out there and it’s not going to go away. So even if you don’t let people be in a certain park, that’s not going to stop it.”
