CRTC warns of scam

The Canadian Radio Television andTelecommunications Commission is warning about a new scam.

The CRTC says scammers have been calling people, claiming to be from the agency and warning them that their computers could be at risk.

They then ask to remotely connect to the computer to scan for and remove any viruses. The agency says the callers are not c-r-t-c employees.
