Crunch time for sending Christmas parcels

OTTAWA, Ont. – Where’s the packing tape?
Canada Post said you’re running out of time to get Christmas gifts from the North Pole delivered on time.
There is still a small window of time to make sure your gifts actually make it to where they need to be on time, providing you’ve started your shopping already.
John Caines with Canada Post told 680News the regular parcel shipping deadlines have already come and gone, so you’ll now be paying extra.
But, if you get cards in the mail Monday, they will still make it for Christmas — but if they’re going somewhere local.
Purolator said Monday is its busiest shipping day.
Purolator, along with FedEx and UPS, said you can also ship up until Thursday to make sure packages get there in time for Christmas.
