CFIA recalls Koh-Kae Brand Peanuts

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is warning people with allergies to milk not to consume the Koh-Kae brand Peanuts Shrimp Flavour Coated snack product.

The affected product contains milk which is not declared on the label.

The affected product, Koh-Kae brand Peanuts Shrimp Flavour Coated snack product, is sold in 230 gram packages bearing UPC 8 852023 665481. All codes are affected by this alert.

This product has been distributed in Ontario and Quebec, and may have been distributed nationally.

There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product.

Consumption may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to milk.

The CFIA is working with Canadian importers, distributors, and retailers to recall all affected products from the marketplace.
