OTTAWA – Good news to start off your week. Gas prices around the city have plummeted.
Although, spaced out around the city, you can fill up for as low as $114.1 cents per litre. Heading into last summer, the average cost at the pump was almost $130.0.
Some drivers were not aware of the lower prices around the city and told 1310News they were a bit disappointed on the drive to work Monday when they filled up at $121.0
“I wish I would have filled up yesterday,” said one listener.
Some drivers told 1310News, a drop of seven cents is not enough for them to seek out the cheaper fuel.
“If it’s a little bit higher I’m not going to go out of my way if it’s a penny or two, if it’s ten cents, sure.”
As of Monday morning, the cheapest gas reported was $114.5 at the Ultramar in Kanata at 660 Eagleson Rd. & Michael Cowpland Dr.
