Big Rig offers help to Cheshire Cat Pub employees

OTTAWA, Ont. – After a devastating fire at the Cheshire Pub in Carp, Monday morning, one local business has stepped up to the plate to try to help.
Ottawa’s Big Rig Brewery has offered employees of the destroyed bar work hours at the pub in Nepean.
“Even if it’s for a short time to help the people, they all obviously need to survive and have families and mortgages,” said Peter Kossivas, manager at Big Rig Brewery. “We just found it very sad, things happen in life and we should always get together to help each other out.”
Kossivas made the offer on Twitter.
“I haven’t heard anything yet, but I’m hoping if there is something we can do, we’re really there for them, ” Kossivas said.
