OTTAWA, Ont. – No injuries after a fire in Greely Friday morning.

Fire crews were called to a commercial building 6968 McKeown Dr. after receiving a call about a strong smoke smell coming from the attic.

The building houses three businesses, including an overflow warehouse for Little Ray’s Reptile Zoo. The animals were unaffected, but staff is on site as a precaution.

Crews removed a section of the roof and ceiling because of smoldering insulation.
