Fire destroys three cars overnight

OTTAWA – Three cars were destroyed by an overnight carport fire in Nepean.
Neighbours reported the fire around 12 a.m. on Pathway Private, near Greenbank Road and Baseline Avenue.
The fire destroyed the carport, and three cars parked inside it, as well as damaging a neighbouring townhome unit.
Two people were displaced for the night.
Total damage is estimated at $250,000 and the cause is under investigation.
