Fire crews extinguished blaze at Donald Street apartment building

OTTAWA – Fire crews were busy Saturday after receiving calls to an east end apartment building just after 3 a.m.
Multiple reports claimed something was burning at the back of the building.
Upon arrival to 1244 Donald Street crews discovered the blaze, which had started outside in a pile of pallets and other debris.
The fire had spread to the complex, through unit 208.
Crews extinguished the flames before 4 a.m.
15 people, from three families, have been displaced as a result of the fire.
No injuries have been reported.
Dollar loss reported as $400,000.
