H&M Bayshore to open its doors in October

OTTAWA- The city”s young fashionistas are celebrating and counting down the days now that H&M has announced an opening date for its first store in the capital.
The store, known for copying trendy runway styles, is set to open its Bayshore location on October 17.
Shoppers say they are positively giddy as they’ve been waiting for an H&M for years.
“I was in New York City and I went to the H&M there and I was like, I wish we had one in Ottawa,” said Janice.
General Manager at Bayshore, Denis Pelletier, told 1310News that this opening marks the first phase of the shopping centre’s makeover.
“The retail community is catching up to what the customer is looking for and so having it available in Ottawa, not having to go to other markets is extremely positive for us,” he explained.
The 22,000 square foot location will open at noon on October 17.
