Two cars collide then hit cyclist in Orleans

ORLEANS, Ont. – Three teenagers were rushed to hospital Monday after two cars collided then struck a cyclist in Orleans.
Ottawa Paramedics were called to the intersection of Innes Road and Orchardview Avenue around 3 p.m.
A passenger in one of the vehicles, a 17-year-old girl suffered neck and back pain. The other passenger in the second vehicle, also a 17-year-old girl was treated for chest discomfort. Paramedics said the injuries stemmed from the impact of airbags.
A 17-year-old cyclist suffered head and shoulder injuries when he was struck by one of the vehicles. The force of the impact threw the teen over his handlebars.
Paramedics said the teen cyclist was not wearing a helmet, but was in stable condition upon arrival to hospital, as were the two girls.
Police are investigating.
