GATINEAU – Autopsy results on an Aylmer couple could be released Wednesday.
Police responded to a 911 call at 158 rue de la Terrasse Eardley shortly before 1 p.m. on Monday, and discovered two bodies inside.
The two have since been identified on social media as couple Amanda Trottier and Travis Votour, both in their 20’s.
Police also found a three-year-old toddler, the daughter of Amanda, inside the condominium unharmed. There are also reports the toddler was heard asking relatives why men hurt her mother, according to the Citizen.
Amanda’s grandfather has been quoted saying he believes drugs are involved. He told the Sun the pair had received threats at their home and had struggled with drug problems.
There is concern they may have been targeted by a dealer looking to collect.
Amanda’s mother, Victoria Labrasseur, is calling for the “monsters who did this to be brought to justice.”
Police continue to investigate.
