OTTAWA – Police arrested and charged an Ottawa man with human trafficking offences stemming from a complaint last September.
Ricardo Spence, 31, was arrested Tuesday by the Repeat Offender Provincial Enforcement and is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Spence is charged with trafficking in persons by excercising control, financial and material benefit from trafficking, withholding documents, forcible confinement, assault, assault with a weapon, uttering threats of death or bodily harm and failure to comply with conditions of an undertaking.
It’s believed there could be other victims and Human Trafficking investigators are urging them to come forward.
