Man in serious condition in hospital after downtown shooting

OTTAWA — A 24-year-old man is in serious condition in hospital after a downtown shooting early Sunday morning.
Paramedics were called to George Street just after 2:30 a.m., where they found a man who had been shot twice outside the Salvation Army building.
The man was shot once in each leg and his injuries are considered non-life threatening.
No arrests have been made and the victim has refused to co-operate with police.
The Ottawa Police Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating.
