School custodian charged with sexual assault

OTTAWA — A local elementary school custodian has been charged with sexual assault against several students.
The investigation began back in March of this year, as students informed the school principal of the alleged incidents.
There is also a chance that there are more victims.
“There’s always that possibility when you talk about a school setting,” said Constable Marc Soucy. “If there are other victims, we are asking them to come forward.”
Sabourin was moved to the night shift during the investigation.
Constable Soucy added that they are not naming the school at this time, as Sabourin may have worked at multiple schools.
Sabourin now faces multiple charges of sexual assault and sexual interference.
