Ontario’s new cabinet, wasteful spending, cottage hot spots on Talk to the Hand

OTTAWA – Premier Kathleen Wynne’s new cabinet, the Canadian Taxpayers Federation’s Honourary Doctorate for Wasteful Spending, an increase in Ontario cottage sales and where the hot spots are and a new report on economic freedom are some of the topics being discussed on Talk to the Hand.

Thursday’s show rundown:

-Philip Cross of the CD Howe Institute on his new report showing how government policy in Ontario and Quebec is stifling business growth.

-Jennifer Lamoureux of the Rideau Valley Conservation Authority talks to Ed about a project to connect the Brewer Park Pond to the Rideau River.

-Authors Joshua Fields Millburn and Ryan Nicodemus also known as “The Minimalists” join Ed to talk about the movement and their message.

-Gregory Thomas of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation talks to Ed about the just announced ‘Honourary Doctorate for Wasteful Spending.’

-Katlyn Harrison of Summa Strategies talks to Ed about the new Ontario cabinet.

-Michelle Kelly of Cottage Life magazine talks to Ed about the increase in cottage sales in Ontario and some of the hot spots this year.

-Fred McMahon of the Fraser Institute talks to Ed about his new report which finds economic freedom and choice leads to peace.
