Woman dies while scuba diving in St. Lawrence River

OTTAWA – OPP is investigating the death of a 49-year-old Mississauga woman who was scuba diving in the St. Lawrence River about five kilometers west of Brockville.
The OPP Marine Unit responded to the scene around 2 p.m on Tuesday and pulled the woman from the water.
She was taken to hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The woman’s name is not being release until the family members are notified.
The investigation is ongoing.
