Police continue search for missing Calgary boy and his grandparents

AIRDRIE, Alta. – Police in Alberta expect to resume searching a property near Airdrie Monday as they continue to look for a missing five-year-old Calgary boy and his grandparents.
Sunday, they shifted efforts to a field and a slough north of an acreage they began searching Friday.
Police have brought in a dog and a boat to help look for Nathan O’Brien and his grandparents, Alvin and Kathy Liknes.
They say a tip led them to the property where they found a pickup truck that fit the description of a vehicle that was caught on a surveillance camera.
They took in a man for questioning but have released him, though they still describe him as a person of interest.
Airdrie is a bedroom community of Calgary.
The couple and the little boy disappeared Monday and police say a violent incident occurred in the Liknes Calgary home.
