Six facing charges after drug bust in Nepean, Barrhaven

OTTAWA — Five adults and a young offender are facing charges after a major drug bust in three different homes located in Nepean and Barrhaven.

Police executed warrants on the homes last Friday, seizing multiple handguns, ammunition, and several thousand dollars worth of marijuana and crack cocaine.

Police also seized over $40,000 in cash and $500 US.

25 year-old Abdulaziz Muffareh, 22 year-old Nasser Muffareh, Nicole Larabie, 35, and a young offender, all face drug trafficking charges.

Abdulaziz Mufareh, 20 year-old Fawaz Muffarezh, and 29 year-old Kevin Bergeron also face several weapons and ammunition charges.

This is the second case in less than three weeks that Ottawa’s drug unit have recovered handguns and ammunition during a search warrant.
