Blown diesel engine causes fire at OC Transpo bus depot

OTTAWA – Ottawa Fire says it appears a blown diesel engine may have caused a fire at the OC Transpo bus depot on St. Laurent Boulevard early Saturday morning.

A bus in the garage bay caught fire around 1:20 a.m. but the blaze was quickly brought under control with the scene being cleared before 2:30 a.m.

There’s no word yet on total damages.
