O-Train service remains suspended after partial derailment

OTTAWA – O-Train service remains suspended Tuesday morning after part of the northbound train came off the tracks at Carleton University Monday afternoon, sending one woman to hospital.

The woman in her 50’s suffered neck and back injuries and was taken to hospital as a precaution.

“Some of the wheel sets were not fully aligned on the track,” said the manager of Ottawa’s transit operations Troy Charter.

Charter said the incident is under investigation.

An alternate bus route 107 is transporting passengers between Greenboro and Bayview stations.
