Final weekend for supervised swimming at Ottawa beaches

OTTAWA – The city of Ottawa is reminding the public that this is the final weekend for supervised swimming at all 5 city beaches.

Starting Monday, lifeguards will no longer be on duty at Britannia, Mooney’s Bay, Petrie Island East Bay, Petrie Island River and Westboro beaches.

Outdoor pools and splash pads will also slowly start to close through next week.
