Man dies after motorcycle accident in Gatineau

GATINEAU — A 28 year-old man died Monday morning after a motorcycle accident in Gatineau.

The man was travelling westbound on Highway 50 when he lost control of his bike while getting onto Lorrain Boulevard.

He was pronounced dead in hospital.

Lorrain Boulevard was subsequently closed for a police investigation.

Police believe speed was likely a factor.
