Foul play not suspected after autopsy on body pulled from Rideau River

OTTAWA — Foul play was ruled out in the death of a woman found in the Rideau River Tuesday.

An autopsy was done Wednesday on the body of the 31-year-old woman.

A passer-by discovered the body around 10:45 a.m. around Carleton University.

Ottawa police no longer believe the death is suspicious.

The woman’s name was not released.
