No injuries in west end tanker roll

OTTAWA – No one was hurt when a tanker truck carrying furnace fuel rolled in the west end Monday night.

An off-duty firefighter spotted the accident involving a MacEwan tanker truck at the Holly Acres off-ramp from Highway 417 around 5 p.m.

The Hazmat team was called in, and spent nearly two hours making sure fuel did not spill from the truck. The off-ramp reopened just before 7 p.m.
