Man rushed to hospital after being pulled from Rideau River

OTTAWA – One man was rushed to hospital in serious condition after being pulled from the Rideau River Wednesday morning.

The 48-year-old man was spotted by a passerby about three feet from the shore near Bank Street and Riverdale Drive around 7:30 a.m.

It’s not clear how he ended up in the water, or the extent of his injuries.
