Ontario woman’s skin care line available at Nordstrom

OTTAWA — An iconic American retailer will feature some made-in-Canada product lines.
When the brand-new Nordstrom opened in the Rideau Centre Friday, Linda Stephenson’s Mereadesso skin care line was one of the products available.
She’s chemist, a botanist, and a microbiologist who’s been in the beauty industry for over 27 years.
Stephenson says getting her products into Nordstrom took persistence — starting with a call to the company out of the blue, then lots of follow-up until she got in.
Her skin care line, along with other Canadian products, is on shelves now at the 157,000 squarefoot Nordstrom store, in the former Sears space at the Rideau Centre.
