CHEO telethon fundraising raises $7.9 million

OTTAWA – The 32nd annual telethon for the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario raised $7,941,063.
That total does include money raised throughout the year from fundraising events.
This year, Costco store employees and customers raised $1,605,000, while staff and customers with the T.D. Bank raised over $455,000.
The money raised goes to research, the purchase of specialized medical equipment and hospital renovations.
